How do you do the animation?

i did the animation and color of Dorothy in Flash. The background i created in Photoshop. I exported Dorothy as a PNG sequence, and overlayed everything in After Effects where I added the glow and other effects.

Thank you! ;v; I think what mad me improve my BGs is by changing the mindset I have about them. I consider them to be fun, instead of something that is a chore to add to my drawings. Also getting inspiration from the real world and references help a lot as well!
